Eine Stunde Hochschuldidaktik zu Mittag von 12 bis 13 Uhr mit Input und Diskussion - das ist die Online-Veranstaltungsreihe High Noon. Diese Woche auf Englisch und zum Thema Digital storytelling, AI and academic learning.

For thousands of years, human knowledge has been conveyed through stories. Due to the quantum leap in technology, this is now increasingly being done with the help of digital tools resulting in so-called digital stories. Today, AI, especially, seems to be playing a more important role than ever before. But how can facts and fiction be distinguished from each other? If students get everything ready-made, how can they develop their speech production and writing skills as well as their creativity?

About Claus Michael Hutterer:
Claus Michael Hutterer is a trained translator, conference interpreter (GE, EN, HU), teacher and researcher and currently works as a lecturer at the Department of Translation Studies, University of Graz. His research focuses on audiovisual translation including subtitling and audio description, as well as on translation and interpreter education, transgressive pedagogy and multiliteracy.
